Farhad Darya was a special guest at Afghanstar in which eight performers prepared and performed his songs on Tolo TV. Host Daoud Sediqi was in the United States for a very special trip – “Afghan Star has attracted much interest from around the world and he will be appearing live on next week’s show from Utah. Omaid Nezami, a contestant in last year’s Afghan Star himself, filled in as host and did a great job handling the contestants who are becoming more star struck every week – especially this week with Farhad Darya our special guest. Behind the scenes – tempers flared and the makeup room became a place full of emotion. “

Afghanistan’s most famous performer – international superstar Farhad Darya took time out of his busy schedule and made a special trip from overseas to be in Kabul for this week’s show. He spent hours rehearsing with contestants and helping them improve their performance before the show and even performed with them – an experience all contestants will never forget.

This week also saw record numbers of audience who wanted to come to the show. Some didn’t have invitations but still tried to get seats to see their idol Farhad Darya perform live on stage. This week our danger zone was really hot as Habib Popal and Navid Saberpor for the first time made it to the danger zone. Mansor Nazari was evicted this week – and was really upset because he missed the chance to sing with Farhad Darya.
