Darya on the Street

September 27th,

Recently, a short film about Darya has been made by Ursula Winkler, a well-known German journalist. Some footage of Darya is combined with the song “Mesaazamat” from Darya’s latest album. You can view this clip below. enjoy!

In October, some films which are also created by German journalists will be aired on ZDF, German television, in which Darya also appears. The date for the first show is:

8 October – 22:45 in the evening on ZDF TV, Germany. – This film is created by Ulrich Tilgner, another very well-known journalist. Other dates for the remaining films will be made public soon..

Wow this is amazing. It shows you Afghanistan in a different way. I wish we had more legends in our county such as Farhad Darya. Keep up the good work. I will definately wait for the films on ZDF.

i wanna tell u some thing so sweet about farhad jan. I have an irani co-worker,in the place tht i am workin.She told me tht she likes an afghani singer he sings(salam afghanistan)i said “oh yea he is the best,his name is farhad jani darya.” She said tht her mom likes farhad jan too and she cries when she watches afghanitan salam on tv. she told me to give her any websites, or any information about him.and i did.
(WE BECAME GOOD FIRENDS FROM THT DAY ON)
